The hands are very vulnerable to some tools, conditions and/or substances used in work. The right work gloves provide the necessary hand protection.
Modern and safe work gloves
Good hand protection is necessary to prevent and limit injuries. It is very important to choose the right work glove for the right application. However, the range of work gloves on offer is very large. Oxxa Safety Gloves knows better than anyone how important safe working conditions are and offers a compact range of work gloves that covers most application areas. All work gloves have a modern look, a very good fit, grip and finger sensitivity.
Work gloves provide grip. They prevent wet, slippery objects from slipping out of your hands. This grip prevents damage to the objects themselves, but also ensures the user’s safety.
Work gloves protect against stitches, abrasions and cuts. Tendons and nerves have a very sensitive structure that can be irreparably damaged by deep wounds. Wearing work gloves can prevent this. Work gloves can make the difference between a busted knee and a broken one.
While working outdoors during the winter months, workers are confronted with ice, snow, rain and other winter precipitation. In order to make it possible to work outdoors, the employer must provide his employees with PPE that will keep the person warm and protected against the above mentioned winter conditions. Thermal gloves must be worn when a user is exposed to temperatures below 4° C. These gloves must protect the user from cold and water. In addition, the work glove must offer the user a good grip and flexibility.

OXXA Safety Gloves has added some special technologies and fibres to its work gloves. This improves the quality and comfort of the gloves, but also the safety. Below you will find an overview of all technologies and fibres found in the different glove models.
LYCRA® is an elastic synthetic fibre with a repeated stretch capacity of six times its original length. LYCRA® fibres offer unparalleled comfort, fit and freedom of movement. Also when used in work gloves.
Armor SkinTM is one of the strongest synthetic fibres that can be used for work gloves. Work gloves made from this fibre have a high resistance to abrasion and can therefore be worn longer than, for example, leather gloves. The hands are protected and the gloves are also comfortable.
3MTM ThinsulateTM insulation is a synthetic fibre that keeps gloves warm in cold conditions. The fibre is strong, but also very thin and light. ThinsulateTM retains body heat and allows moisture to escape. The extremely fine microfibres of ThinsulateTM retain a layer of air, making it a very effective insulator. The high thermal density ratio of ThinsulateTM gives the gloves more freedom and comfort.
DYNEEMA® DIAMOND TECHNOLOGY
Dyneema® Diamond technology is a pioneering new fibre that is already protecting millions of hands around the world. Without using glass or steel fibres, Dyneema® doubles both cut resistance and comfort. Thanks in part to its high abrasion resistance, Dyneema® is considered the new standard in hand protection.
The pre-curved – pre-shaped – work gloves ensure a perfect fit and therefore optimal wearing comfort.
